The proposal for the new Convention Center was designed in 2011 as an attractive project for investors. Our client, The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyz Republic, required the design of a multifunctional complex for conventions, seminars, exhibitions and other events totaling an area of more than 40 000 sq. m.
The Convention Center is a multipurpose complex, which includes:
- 2 story exhibition building with a total area of 4 500 sq. m. and further possibility of space transformation;
- Four star Hotel of 16 floors for 96 rooms,
- Business-center of 12 floors with banks, offices of CCI, media-center with broadcasting studios and auditoriums.
Other than conference halls, exhibition and trade pavilions, there are restaurants, spas, entertainment spaces, concert halls, two-level underground parking lots for 150 cars. All buildings of the complex are joined by covered passages for comfortable and fast access to all zones. Construction of Convention Center as a city-forming urban unite will contribute the emergence of city tissue from former industrial area and its development in the East end and will support to enhance infrastructure of this area. The design project of Conventional Center was presented on the First International Exhibition EXPO “China-Eurasia” 2011 and has got high appraisal of President of Kyrgyz Republic Rosa Otunbaeva.
